Junk & spam — how it works

هرزنامه و اسپم — روش کار

Your mailbox has one junk folder, Junk Mail. The server filters obvious spam into it and learns from you.

صندوق شما یک پوشه‌ی هرزنامه دارد: Junk Mail. سرور اسپم‌های واضح را به آن منتقل می‌کند و از شما یاد می‌گیرد.

The filter learns from you, separately for each mailbox. Two simple habits keep it accurate:

فیلتر برای هر صندوق به‌طور جداگانه از شما یاد می‌گیرد. دو عادت ساده آن را دقیق نگه می‌دارد:

  1. Spam in your Inbox? Select it and choose “Mark as Junk” (or move it into the Junk Mail folder). Similar mail is then caught automatically.اسپم در Inbox؟ آن را انتخاب کنید و «Mark as Junk» را بزنید (یا به پوشه‌ی Junk Mail منتقلش کنید). از آن پس ایمیل مشابه خودکار گرفته می‌شود.
  2. A real email wrongly in Junk? Select it and choose “Not Junk” (or move it back to Inbox). The sender is trusted from then on.ایمیل واقعی اشتباهی در Junk؟ آن را انتخاب کنید و «Not Junk» را بزنید (یا به Inbox برگردانید). از آن پس فرستنده مورد اعتماد می‌شود.

Where to find it: iPhone/iPad & Mac Mail — long-press or swipe the message, or use the move/flag menu; webmail — right-click the message or use the toolbar; Outlook/Thunderbird — right-click → Junk.

کجا پیدا کنید: در Mail آیفون/آیپد و مک — روی پیام نگه دارید یا بکشید، یا از منوی move/flag استفاده کنید؛ در وب‌میل — روی پیام راست‌کلیک کنید یا از نوار ابزار؛ در Outlook/Thunderbird — راست‌کلیک ← Junk.

Tip: glance at your Junk Mail folder about once a week. If something important is there, mark it “Not Junk” — that both rescues the email and teaches the filter. Nothing in Junk is ever deleted automatically.نکته: هفته‌ای یک‌بار نگاهی به پوشه‌ی Junk Mail بیندازید. اگر چیز مهمی آنجا بود، «Not Junk» کنید — هم ایمیل را نجات می‌دهد هم فیلتر را آموزش می‌دهد. هیچ‌چیز در Junk به‌طور خودکار پاک نمی‌شود.
Use only the Junk Mail folder. If you still see an old Junk Email folder (from Microsoft), don't use it — the system doesn't learn from it.فقط از پوشه‌ی Junk Mail استفاده کنید. اگر هنوز پوشه‌ی قدیمی Junk Email (از مایکروسافت) می‌بینید، از آن استفاده نکنید — سیستم از آن یاد نمی‌گیرد.

“Focused” and “Other” inboxes were an Outlook feature and are gone. Some accounts also get a Newsletters folder where marketing/mailing-list mail is sorted automatically. Nothing is deleted.

صندوق‌های «Focused» و «Other» قابلیت Outlook بودند و دیگر نیستند. برای بعضی حساب‌ها هم یک پوشه‌ی Newsletters هست که ایمیل‌های تبلیغاتی/لیست‌های پستی خودکار در آن مرتب می‌شوند. چیزی پاک نمی‌شود.
